I stumbled across Gerard’s name through Google. I was hosting a family gathering and was looking for some entertainment the whole family could enjoy.

We were all blown away by Gerard’s performance, he was outstanding. He had my entire family from my 12 year old cousin to my 75 year old uncle crying in laugher. His interaction and carefree approach made us all feel comfortable and the show was hilarious.

Gerard is an outstanding performer and he was gracious with his time, staying to mingle and to chat after the show.

After seeing Gerard V at a previous event we decided to use this fantastic show as our fundraising event. From the very beginning of the show people were commenting on how effective and professional the setting looked with the lights and music.

Once the show began the entire audience were captured, people were laughing so hard they had tears running down their faces as they watched the volunteers. Some people had been a bit worried they would be picked on to perform but Gerard reassured everyone that it was volunteers only, if you didn’t volunteer you couldn’t be hypnotised.

Since the show I have had numerous people comment on the show and how great it was, some people have also asked for Gerard’s number for events of their own.

I recently organised a Ladies Luncheon for the Montmorency Football Club. After looking up a range of comedians and entertainers I chose Gerard V. After reading the profile I thought that this would be great entertainment. I must admit it exceeded my expectation. I want to again thank you for your time on Wednesday night. Over the last 2 days I have had a lot of people comment on your act and say that it was a great finish to the evening. Here are a few words to summarise your performance.

“When I initially came across Gerard V, I was a bit sceptical as to how funny a “clean” hypnotic show could be. After meeting with Gerard before our show, I started to understand and appreciate the level of professionalism with which he conducts his service. Even though we booked Gerard at late notice, he made every effort to arrive at our venue the day before to survey the event area, explain his performance and plan the show. On the night I was extremely impressed by Gerard. He arrived early and was available throughout the evening, even though his performance was much later.

The performance itself was hilarious, any doubt about a “funny clean” show were immediately dispelled. He had the audience in stitches for over an hour. Despite a glitch with our PA system, he managed to pull off a show that is still being talked about. People were sceptical about the fundraiser to start with but after a great turn out and everyone enjoying themselves I have received nothing but positive and excited comments since the show. I have heard friends, family and club members retell the events of Saturday night over and over while collapsing in laughter. I was so impressed after seeing one of Gerard’s shows in Geraldine that I got in touch with Gerard to book him for a work function. To boost numbers we also combined forces with the local PTA to ensure we had a good sized crowd on the night. Admittedly after booking I was a bit nervous that it might not be everyone’s cup of tea as we had such a diverse range of people in our group. However the night was a huge success with everyone roaring with laughter all night long. Gerard put on a superb show including fantastic lights and music which added to the atmosphere. He handled both the volunteers and crowd perfectly to ensure everyone had the night of their life. Feedback from everyone was nothing but positive with people saying they haven’t laughed so much in a very long time. I have definitely set the bar very high for our work function now and I really don’t think I will be able to beat Gerard’s show for both entertainment and dollar value.

Thanks for opening my mind to an amazing experience, both strange and really enjoyable.  Hypnosis is something I’ve always been curious about, but never desperate to experience, however now I’m SO glad I’ve had the opportunity and I would definitely do it again.  By all accounts watching the show was hilarious and entertaining.  My close friends said they felt very protective of me up there but were always totally comfortable that I was being looked after.  [Some] others said they definitely want to experience it for themselves.

We recently engaged Gerard V to run his show for us at our National Sales Conference held on Thursday 6th November 2008.

The show was arranged to start after dinner, at about 8.00pm. As often happens, these events do not always run on time, but Gerard was most accommodating, and happy to wait until everyone was settled in before he started.

Not many of the conference attendees had ever seen a hypnotist before, and were quite excited and surprised that this had been arranged.
