Adults Only Magic Show Adelaide Fringe 2022

I was a bit apprehensive about going to an adults only magic show at the Adelaide Fringe. Generally I avoid such things and do family friendly shows myself. The show was entirely not what I expected, funny, and not sleazy. Sam and Justin did an awesome job.

I can see why it had to be billed as “adulkts only” but despite that name it wasn’t at all sleazy or even “sexy”. Just utterly hilarious and the two magicians worked so well together that made an great team.

They were a the winners of the Best Magic Show, Adelaide Fringe Weeklies ‘21 and deservedly so.

I went along with Andrew Vening who is also a meltalist and we did manage to work out how they did most of their mentalism and magic tricks (sometimes being in the industry takes the magic away, but they were such good fun it was impossible not to have a good time).

I hope to see them again at Adelaide Fringe 2022.
