The Harsh Truth Is That You Are Wrong
The article linked below struck a chord with me. I have had a few recent experiences where I could see that the real problem I had (or someone else had) was a firm belief in something that was preventing me from seeing that there were other options, and that maybe, just maybe, I was wrong in my belief.
That happens with our beliefs about diet and health, about people and relationships, and about prosperity and success.
We are held back more, I suspect, by the things we hold to be true, but which are not true, than we are by genuine obstacles.
I have come to force myself to ask often: "could I be wrong", and maybe if I am wrong that would be better.
