Melbourne Hens Party Ideas
I do cool informal shows with small groups.
I am a comedy hypnotist entertainer, and by that I want to entertain people and for *everyone* to have a good time. So I do not pick on anyone to hypnotise (not even the bride or groom to be), I only work with volunteers. I do gags and skits with the volunteers that are unique and hilarious, and only as risqué as is suitable for the volunteers and the audience. And yes, there are always volunteers.
What this means is that R18 material is often not necessary or appropriate - because the people who ask for that usually plan to stay in the audience and watch the other people - but if the volunteers are up for it then we can go there. For the most part though I keep the show clean.
The most important thing for me is that the volunteers have a great time, feel safe and are treated with respect. Secondary to that is that the audience has a great time, etc.
You will find that you friends are hilarious under hypnosis - most people are. The testimonials on my website will confirm that.
A hens or bucks party is different from a typical show as usually the setting is more informal (someone’s lounge) and there is no stage, theatre lighting and PA system. So the way it works is that I will arrive a little before the agreed time and will touch base with you. It also helps if I am early enough to get a feeling for the mood and the types of people there - simply it makes it easier for me and better for you. I will then do a short intro and ask for volunteers who I will hypnotise - with everyone else watching on. Not every volunteer always goes under - but usually most do. And from there we do gags and skits and generally have fun.
It is both hilarious and amazing.
I bring along just enough gear to play some music when needed. Otherwise it is very simple, informal, and relaxed. And about an hour seems to be a good amount of time - though I am not usually constrained by the clock so will go on longer if your schedule permits and the mood is right.
I can work in with other events and entertainment too - but cannot do the show during a meal as food is too distracting.
