Butter is Evil. No. Wait!
I am interested in health and exercise, I am also interested in how we deal with thinking and information. So much of what we believe (you, me everyone) is in fact untrue. Often ideas picked up from others or from the media lodge in our minds and remain unchallenged.
For decades I had been told that butter was unhealthy. I never thought to challenge that or to seek out the basis that people had for making that claim.
As it happens, so often, this claim is apparently untrue. Here' some background on the topic.
8 glasses of water a day? Nope.
Vitamin C for a cold? Nope.
Eat low cholesterol foods? Nope.
Here's the question really. We don't have time to investigate for ourselves every claim. But we can pick out one or two areas where we just might be wrong, and open up to that possibility.
