Another Good Reason to Ditch That Alarm Clock
Those digital alarms clocks or clock radios not only wake you up, they may be preventing you from sleeping.
Do you have a digital alarm with an LED display? Most of these are too bright even when they automatically dim.
Worse, many are blue or green, not red. Blue is the worst colour for a night light. Studies have shown that blue light impairs sleep for many people.
Get rid of it. Use your phone instead, or cover it up completely with a dark cloth. Don’t look at it in the night either.
Also cover up or remove all those telltale LED lights that every appliance seems to have. Your music player, computers, everything. Those lights really don’t help you sleep.
